StGiles – How do we change but stay the same? Find Out at Gearing Up

During the past three years StGiles has changed to fit with the gradual implementation of the National Disability Insurance Scheme by 2019.

"No, we don’t have a crystal ball. Instead, we have relied on our 77 years of disability history and experience to help forecast how we believe StGiles must change to take people living with disability forward with confidence." Says Danielle Blewett The General Manager Profile and Engagement.

StGiles is a major sponsor of Gearing Up Expo in Launceston (Tailrace) September 9; Burnie, September 16 (Burnie Arts and Function Centre); Hobart (Princes Wharf 1) September 2.

StGiles Director Service Delivery and Development Mark Deverell is guiding the largest component of our 300-strong workforce through the transition.our 300-strong workforce through the transition.

His team will be among those from StGiles available to answer questions about how they work and look within the NDIS at Gearing Up.

StGiles teams will be available to explain the services they provide now and who can use them as well as StGiles new services such as Therapy Plus, Seating Equipment Modifications Assessment Team (SEMAT) and their Participate Assistive Technology teams.

They will also be available to talk about recruitment and employment opportunities at StGiles.

StGiles trusted physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech pathology teams will also be represented at Gearing Up at all three venues during early September.
